ERP

An ERP is your company's business management software. It connects stock, orders, invoices, purchasing and sometimes production and payroll. The idea is that every piece of information is entered once and reaches every place it is needed on its own, without parallel spreadsheets that slowly drift apart.

Example: When you sell a product, the ERP lowers the stock, issues the invoice and tells you when to reorder from the supplier.

Big or small?

Big ERPs are powerful but expensive and hard to adapt. Sometimes a small, tailored management system is the better choice.
