About the site

techaine.com presents techaine's services. By using it you accept these terms. Every project also has its own written contract; where the contract says something different, the contract prevails.

Information and prices

Information and prices on the site are indicative. A binding offer, with price and timelines, is made in writing after a conversation about your needs.

Subscription or one-time payment

You can work with us in two ways:

• Monthly subscription: you pay a fixed monthly amount that covers building, hosting, maintenance and small adjustments. You can stop it with 30 days' notice, without penalties.
• One-time payment: you pay once for the project, usually part up front and the rest on delivery. Maintenance can be added separately.

The exact details (amounts, payment terms, what each option includes) are set out in your offer and contract.

Maintenance

While maintenance is active we monitor what we built, fix errors and apply the necessary updates. We are not responsible for changes made by other people or by outside providers (for example, a tool that changes how it works), but we will help you sort them out.

The AI assistant

The chat assistant is an artificial intelligence program. It can make mistakes, and its answers are not offers and are not contractually binding. Don't enter sensitive data in the chat.

Intellectual property

The texts, graphics and code of this site belong to techaine. You may quote them with a link to the source.

Your business data always stays yours. Code and documentation made specifically for you belong to you once paid in full, or, on a subscription, as set out in the contract. Our general tools and components, reused across projects, remain ours; you receive the right to use them in your project.

Liability

We do our best to keep information accurate and to make what we deliver work as agreed. We are not liable for decisions made solely on the site's information without talking to us, nor for indirect losses. Our liability for a project is limited to the amount paid for that project, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable law of the European Union and, for matters it does not cover, by the law stated in your contract with us. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence. We always try to settle any disagreement amicably first.
